4 Months Old Already!

Hi everyone! This past Saturday was a big day for me.....I celebrated my four month birthday and went to my first Oktoberfest parade. Unfortunately, the parade was during my nap time, so I slept throughout most of it. But the parts I watched were pretty cool. Also this weekend, my mommy's good friend Jami came to visit from Colorado and she finally got to meet me for the first time. We had so much fun going out to eat (several times) hanging out in the park & getting our nails done.....don't worry, I didn't let them do mine. It was so fun to meet Jami & we wish she was closer so we could see her more often!

Today I visited the doctor for my 4 month check-up, and they gave me more of those yucky shots....boy do I hate shots! I continue to be in the 90% for my height and weight, coming in at 17lb6oz and 26 1/2in long. What can I say, I don't miss a meal :)

Well, I hope everyone is enjoying the fall weather, I've noticed that it's been getting cooler and cooler outside lately. Mommy has to bundle me up for our evening walks now, but I don't mind, it's nice and cozy.

The other night Dennis called me into Jack's room to show me how precious he looked sleeping. We just watched little Jack for a few minutes wondering what we did to deserve to be the parents of such a wonderful little baby boy. We are so blessed!

This weekend we had several family members here to participate in the Tri-Quest run, bike & golf event. Auntie Corinne, Grandpa Churness, & Jenny and Chris all participated. It was also Daddy's last year as president of the event - we're so proud of you Daddy

Labor Day & 5K Slideshow

Labor Day & 5K

Hi Everyone! I've been soooo busy, so sorry I haven't written in a while. I 'm happy to report that I had a great time celebrating my first Labor Day....we went to Randy & Kelly's annual Labor Day party where I had so much fun playing with my buddies. According to my parents last year there was only one little one at the party, but this year there were 6 kids & it was a blast! I also got a visit from Grandma and Grandpa Vogel & Auntie Heather. We had a great weekend & it was so good to see them and have the opportunity to show off my new tricks :)

Last weekend our family made the treck up to Clayton, in northern WI, to participate in my first 5K run/walk. It was also my first time staying at a hotel, I made sure to be a good boy so my parents will take me to a hotel again sometime. I can't wait until I get a little bigger so mommy let's me go swimming in the cool looking pool that they had there. I made it through the whole 5K run/walk! Although I'll have to admit that mommy did most of the work pushing me in my stroller :) Grandma & Grandpa Churness & Auntie Corinne came to participate with us too, so that was really fun.

I'm also happy to report that I invited our friends Brian & Andrea over the other night & asked them if they would be my Godparents.....and they accepted! I'm one lucky little boy to have such awesome Godparents :)

Well, my Mommy says she's sorry she's so behind with the blog pictures, but she's feeling pretty overwhelmed being back to work full time & taking such good care of me too!
