Who says car trips have to be boring?!

Summers End

We've been taking advantage of every last warm day lately, knowing they are numbered. Jack (and Momma) will definitely miss the outdoor playtime when winter comes! We've also been taking advantage of having more time together since I've been working part-time (and Daddy been appreciating having dinner ready when he walks in the door). It's been so great for Jack and I to have more time to spend together and also having more time to do things I was too busy for before. We are so lucky our Daddy works so hard for our family so we have this opportunity!

Jack is spouting off more words with each day (or maybe we've gotten better at decoding them!) Some of his most recent are "Buaaba" for bubbles and we hear lot's of "no-no, no-no." I guess he hears that a lot :) He's also become quite the little helper. Every time I empty the dishwasher, Jack is by my side to help hand me the dishes. He also likes to help with the laundry (he takes one item to the laundry room and I take the basket) and then he also helps with loading the dryer. Tonight he even helped me brush off the sidewalk. Basically anything we do, he wants to do and you can just tell he feels so proud of himself "helping" us out. It's super cute and completely worth the extra time it adds on to the chores :)
