Stella was very involved and interested in helping plan her birthday party this year, she was equally as enthusiastic as her momma about all the little party details (which I of course was very excited about!) We made may trips to Hobby Lobby to get just the right stuff for her rainbow art party. The kids each got to paint and bedazzle these cute letters I got of the first letter of their names. Then it was time for the bouncy house, then inside to decorate cupcakes. Each of them got an art palate filled with different colored sprinkles and candy to sugar up their cupcakes to their liking. Then it was back outside to finish up any bedazzling of their art projects and more bouncing. We had a lunch of start shaped cheese sandwiches, rainbow party popcorn, rainbow jello and rainbow fruit (which I'm bummed I forgot to take pictures of.) We topped off the party with singing to the birthday girl, indulging in our sugary masterpieces, and present time. Stella had such a fun time and we're already talking about what kind of party to have next year!
For Stella's actual birthday day we spent some time at the park, GOT HER EARS PIERCED! (which she was super brave about and did awesome!), did family presents, and went out for dinner and ice cream! Stella got a new bike this year, which she has definitely had no problem wearing in this summer. I don't know where the time has gone and cannot believe how big our girl is getting. She is so much fun though and she's turning into my little buddy already. The girls are going to have to stick together since we will soon be outnumbered :)
