The 1st Birthday Bash

Jack is 1
Well, I made it through my first year. It's been a wild ride learning all about the world.......how to roll over, sit up, eat food, crawl, learn my first words, cruise, and most recently take my first few steps. My mommy & daddy say that the older I get the more fun I am, and I must say I agree with them. It's so fun making a mess of the tupperware in the kitchen, having daddy chase me up the stairs, or get into the plants when mommy's not watching :) Mommy says she can't believe that it has been a whole year since I gave her such a hard time making my grand entrance into the world. I even heard Daddy say the other day that even he was a little sad at how fast I was becoming a big boy (remember this is the same dad that when I was a newborn said he couldn't wait until I was old enough to play ball with him and come work at the bank!)
Thinking back to the hightlights of my first year, the things that really stand out seem to be the simple things; hanging out at home as a family, taking walks and trips to the park together, and......getting introduced to new foods - I still love to eat as much as ever :) It's been an oustanding first year, my Mommy and Daddy & I are so lucky to have each other and we look forward to many more years of family fun!
