Jack has a newfound love for the laundry basket. He could play with it for hours - who knew that something so simple would be so amazingly fun to a 8 month old! Here he is in action!

Jack is 8 Months Old!
Little Buddy - 8 Months
Can you believe it........ I'm already 8 months old today. It seems like just yesterday I was just a tiny newborn......not anymore, I'm becoming such a big boy more and more with each day. I just graduated from my infant carseat to a big boy seat. I now weigh a wopping 21 pounds and am 28" long - both in the 95th% of course :) As you can see from the pictures, I now have four teeth and have started putting them to good use eating cheerios. I now eat breakfast, lunch & dinner - just like mommy & daddy do. My crawling is still a work in progress, I can go backwards, but not forwards yet - it's been a very frustrating skill for me to learn, but I'm going to keep practicing until I get the hang of it. Because I can't quite get the hang of crawling, I've turned to alternative methods of getting around, such as the backward crawling previously mentioned, scooting, lunging forward or sideways from a seated position, pivoting in 360's, and also I've just started to pull myself up onto my knees. I'm really into laughing at the moment - I'm very ticklish :) I also love balls, especially playing baseball. Last but not least, I've been discovering all kinds of new noises lately, my favotie at the moment is growling, yes growling.....it sure turns heads in the grocery store :)
P.S. please no phone calls this Sunday after 5pm, as Daddy & I will be busy watching the Steelers getting their 6th super bowl ring.
