Let it Snow

That's right, it's mid February and I titled this post let it snow!  Recently I have heard a few people mention spring, but as someone that has lived in the midwest my whole life, I know it's best not to get excited for spring too soon, because really we all know it's gonna be cold another couple of months.  So we will embrace winter here in Wisconsin, for it's cold days bring cozy days at home watching the snow come down, enjoying my warm coffee in the morning a little bit more, homemade soup simmering in the crock pot, and two little ones who get excited and can't wait to get outside and play in a winter wonderland.

better late than never

Better late with these adorable pictures than never.  Unfortunately this is a phase I use to reassure myself of all too often :)  Although our holiday season was loads of fun, it's been so nice to have a slower pace around home this past month, enjoying new toys, time playing outside, music class for Stella and Basketball for Jack.

Jack brought a New Year's project home from school the other week in which the kids had thought of a new year's resolution for themselves, Jack's was: become a better basketball player.  Too cute, as he's been working really hard practicing his basketball skills.

Stella is still thriving with her music and dance interests, she's halfway through another session of Music Together class and as into it as ever!

Busta Move

We traveled back to Manitowoc a little late this year to celebrate Christmas so we could attend a family wedding.  It was a fun way to spend our time together with the extended family & the kids had an absolute blast dancing, running around and seeing everyone!

We're Back!!

We're back!......to blogging that is! January proved to be a month full of getting back on track with things that I had let slide due to the holidays. Also finding a home for all the new gifts and toys and getting everything put away and organized proved to be quite the task. Let me tell you, we have two spoiled little kiddos people. (And by the way thanks if you were a participant in their spoiling, they've been enjoying their new loot.) Anyway, we're back and ready to photo dump our January happenings with you!

Happy New Year everyone!  We had a wonderful time celebrating the turn of a new year by hosting a big bash with our friends.  Jack & Stella meanwhile were "on vacation" aka. staying in a hotel with Grandma & Grandpa swimming and having a pizza party!  We have made so many wonderful memories this holiday season, and we're excited to head off to Manitowoc tomorrow to celebrate Christmas all over again!  Can't wait to finally see everyone soon!
