 Fall brings chasing each other around the yard with the crunch of leaves beneath our feet.

The Two Amigos

Although they fight like cats and dogs and the sharing is a work in progress, these two cuties have plenty of moments together where you can tell they love one another.  The other day, Stella was nervous about going to her new daycare, and I overheard Jack telling her, "It's okay Stella, I get scared sometimes too going to a new place, it's okay Stella, it's okay to be scared.  You're going to be okay." and gave her a big hug...........melts my heart, moments like those.  I must remind myself of these moments when they are screaming and fighting with each other!

I love age 4 so far!  Jack is so independent and easy, but yet still needs and enjoys spending time with his momma  :)  Jack is a very good helper most of the time, and is very tolerant of his spirited little sister.  Jack is trying soccer this fall and enjoying it.  His number one passion is still cars & trucks, and he loves to build "construction sites" with his car ramps and race track.  He also likes building with his Lego's and lincoln logs at the moment.  Jack really likes his new teacher this year and has adjusted back into school easily!

Back to School

Moen Reunion - picture slideshow

This summer we had a little Moen family gathering here in La Crosse. It was fun to have everyone here, the girls had a fun evening out & even snuck away for pedicures. The guys spent Saturday golfing, and we all had fun playing in the park with the kids, riding the La Crosse Queen paddle boat, and enjoying each others company!

Gearing Up for Fall

Jack enjoying the splash pad on one of our scorching summer days. We had Jack's back to school open house, met his new teacher, explored (aka. staked out where all the cars are) his new classroom, and we are all geared up for starting next week.

Here is Miss Stella picking out the perfect pair of "flip-flops." Stella will be starting a new "school" in a couple weeks too, she will be spending two days a week at a daycare center with lot's of little friends. She is excited for the cool play kitchen in her room, doing lot's of painting, and picking (and eating, yes Stella loves fresh basil) the basil from the garden there.
