Best Buddies

It's funny how the tables have turned a bit lately at our house with the dynamics between Jack & Stella. For a long time Stella was constantly bugging Jack and messing up his stuff, but lately Stella has been starting to pursue her own interests more, and Jack must miss having his little shadow, because he's been the one getting into her stuff trying to play with her or is calling out "Stella, come here, let's play over here!" But Stella has been quite content playing with some of her new toys and yells at Jack if he tries to interfere, waving her hand at him and yelling "no" and "go" trying to shoo him away - it's just hilarious to watch! Of course the majority of the time they're still entertaining each other and playing together & we are so glad they are so close already and have each other to grow up with.

Snow!!!

Jack was absolutely thrilled that we finally got enough snow to play in last week. We rushed outside to make a snowman and snow angels, and to do some "shoveling" of course. We followed the outside fun with some hot cocoa inside and baking Christmas cookies. Jack was great at doing the sprinkles.........hopefully everyone is a sprinkles fan :)

Tree Farm 2011

Well, I had fun at the tree farm, and the kids seemed happy enough, however Dennis was not all too pleased with my choice of tree and the struggle it took to get it home. It was quite the debacle getting it on top of our vehicle and required me holding my hand through the sunroof the half hour drive home to keep it secure...........but it's certainly a tree farm trip to remember and laugh about in the years to come. And the tree looks absolutely gorgeous it our house, which you already know from my earlier post :)

Indoors

The colder weather has finally hit, and luckily Jack and Stella have each other to play with and keep each other company with the extra time playing indoors that winder ensues. It's so much fun to hear Jack call Stella to come over and play with him, they have such a blast entertaining each other. My favorite is when they both get the giggles playing together.........there's no sweeter sound!
