Well, I had fun at the tree farm, and the kids seemed happy enough, however Dennis was not all too pleased with my choice of tree and the struggle it took to get it home. It was quite the debacle getting it on top of our vehicle and required me holding my hand through the sunroof the half hour drive home to keep it secure...........but it's certainly a tree farm trip to remember and laugh about in the years to come. And the tree looks absolutely gorgeous it our house, which you already know from my earlier post :)

Indoors
The colder weather has finally hit, and luckily Jack and Stella have each other to play with and keep each other company with the extra time playing indoors that winder ensues. It's so much fun to hear Jack call Stella to come over and play with him, they have such a blast entertaining each other. My favorite is when they both get the giggles playing together.........there's no sweeter sound!

Fall
With the mild fall weather drifting away and the holidays just around the corner, there are a few more moments in the life of the Vogel family to share with you before we switch gears to the holidays. We took a great family outing to Ferguson's orchard to get some pumpkins, apples, and have some family fun time. I chaperoned my first class trip for Jack to yet another fun pumpkin patch and got to see Jack's first mini-concert at school. October brought a great girls trip to Las Vegas (we're already talking about our next trip!) And also some random moments from those precious days spent at home with the kiddos - enjoy the pics, and up next..........thanksgiving, or as Jack would sing "Hello Mr Turkey how are you? gobble, gobble, wobble, wobble."

Buddies
Stella's newfound mobility has really opened the door to Jack and Stella playing together. They can now be found playing together more often than apart. I came to realize this last Friday morning while Jack was at preschool and it was just Stella and at home. She wanted me to be her playmate all morning because Jack was gone. We've also realized she is really missing not having Jack at daycare with her very often. It is so cute how exited they are to see each other after a day, or even just a morning apart! And speaking of Jack being away at preschool, he is doing awesome and absolutely loves it. He talks about all his new friends, his teacher, and all the fun projects and activities he does while at school. We have to countdown how many days until he gets to go back each time we leave!
