We have been so lucky to have many wonderful friends and family throw us baby showers. It has been fun celebrating the anticipated arrival of little Jack with everyone. He is one lucky little boy to have so many generous family and friends showering him with gifts. He can't wait to wear all his new clothes and play with all his new toys - neither can Mom & Dad :)

We want to send a special thanks to Pam & Cindy for hosting the shower in Manitowoc, Corinne & Jenny for the Minneapolis shower, all my co-workers for the Freight House shower, and Lisa & Kelly for the La Crosse shower. Thanks for all your planning and thoughtfullness!!! We appreciate it!

Belly 36 Weeks

Here I am at 36 Weeks, thankfully I don't have too many more weeks to keep growing. It's getting to be hard work carrying this little guy around :)

Happy 2nd Anniversary To Us!

Yesterday was our 2nd wedding anniversary! We celebrated with dinner at Traditions restaurant and a trip up to Grandad's Bluff, the site of our first date. (Coincidentally, while at Traditions we ran into a bride & groom who had just gotten married, we congratulated them and told them they picked a Great date!) We also continued the tradition we started last year of watching our wedding slideshow and video. It's amazing to us that it has already been two years since the big day - I guess it's true that time flies when you're having fun. We feel so lucky to have each other and to soon be expanding our family - we are truly blessed!

Baby Jack 30 Weeks

Coming Together

The nursery is coming together quite nicely. As you can see, we now have a crib. Dennis and I have just been going in the nursery to look at the crib - it definitely makes it seem more real to see a crib in our house!

Jack 28 Weeks

Baby Jack now weighs about 3lb 6oz - He's a big boy for his age! I have now entered my third trimester - yea!!! The little flutters I used to feel in my belly are turning into more big kicks and jabs. Dennis has been starting to be able to feel little Jack kick more and more. The other night I could see my belly move as Jack was moving and kicking around in there. Only a few more months now until we get to meet our little guy - needless to say, Dennis and I are getting very excited!
